U-lingo is owned and operated by Nancy Hakim a State of Texas Licensed Arabic Interpreter, one of only five licensed in Arabic in Texas, and the first Female to successfully pass the National Center for State Courts exams (NCSC). A distinguished trilingual interpreter with years of professional experience, she has served clients across three East Coast states. Having lived in the United States for over 30 years, she brings an international perspective and deep cultural understanding to her work. Her education spans Syria and the United States. She holds a linguistic university degree earned in Damascus, along with credentials from the “Centre Culturel Français” in Damascus and the prestigious Cambridge Schools. In New York, she earned an associate degree from Nassau Community College in Garden City and a bachelor’s degree from the New York Institute of Technology in Old Westbury. She is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Linguistics and Communication.
